Saddleback Church

Saddleback is a family that loves families. We know that kids can learn from adults, but adults can also learn from kids, so we want to build relationships that cross generational lines. All of our 18 campuses provide fun, safe, age-appropriate programs for your children where they can learn, grow, meet new friends, and have a great time.

Heritage Hill Historic Park

Heritage Hill Historical Park's 4.1 acres includes four fully restored and furnished historic buildings that span the early history of the Saddleback Valley and El Toro area from the Mexican Rancho era (Serrano Adobe, circa 1863), to the founding of the town of El Toro (El Toro Grammar School, 1890; St. George's Episcopal Mission, 1891), through the citrus farming days of the early twentieth century (Harvey Bennett Ranch House, 1908).

Lake Forest Sports Park

The 86-acre Sports Park and Recreation Center opened in November 2014, and is one of the largest sports park in Orange County with 57 acres devoted to sports fields and a multi-functional recreational center.

The facility has been well-received by the community and its sports fields are used seven days a week. As of March 2016, the Sports Park serves approximately 1,800 softball/baseball participants and 1,650 soccer/lacrosse/cricket participants per month and hosts 11 sports tournaments per year. The gymnasium is used by approximately 1,200 participants per month during "open gym" to enjoy basketball and volleyball. The additional space in the recreation center has enabled the City to expand contract classes, youth and teen camps, special events, the preschool program, and youth and adult sports. From picnic gazebos for a fun celebration, trails for walking, to several playgrounds and tot lots for children, we have something for everyone!

Serrano Creek Community Park

One of larger parks in Lake Forest. Picnic Kiosk can be reserved for parties. Good Playground (2-12 years) revamped and resurfaced June 2019. Little space for sports but a couple miles of shaded walkways (concrete & trail). Rest rooms at playground area.

Modjeska Playhouse

Modjeska Playhouse, a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) organization, began as an idea whose seed was planted in 1990 at Trabuco Hills High School (THHS) in Mission Viejo, California. It was a love for the theatre that brought Joe Alanes, Joshua Stecker and Christopher Sullivan together in the early 1990s as students at THHS. All three, after graduating THHS, went on to professional careers in the performing arts as actors, directors, writers and educators.
